BIOGRAPHY

For more than four years now, frères deluxe, an alliance of two dj's from Ghent, have been mixing and mashing their records with an unseen ardor and efficiency. The result...? Always just a little bit more then an extraordinary and danceable mix of various styles.

Their dj-sets are jagged and multi-layered; Their talent is unsurpassed; Their influences are uncountable and their rhythm is always streaming. The intentionis to always load their sets with as many songs as possible, without losing transparency. Seemingly effortlessly they mix electro, 70's, 80's, 90's, drum'n bass, hip hop, r&b and contemporary dance.

They have been resident dj's in the most prominent bars in Ghent and played in clubs like nijdrop, silo, Culture Club, Fuse, Club 69, Bardot, Stereo, Video, Vooruit, Café Théatre and many more. No secret about the Belgian nightlife has ever been hidden to these stepbrothers.

In every corner of the country they have been worthy oppenents to renowned dj's such as buscemi & Squadra Bossa, Shameboy, Discobar Galaxie, Starski&Tonic, TLP, Sigi, 4T4, Sven van Hees, Ed&Kim, Gerrit K, Pat Verhelst, Otto Jan Ham and D'Stephanie. They have Battled courageously against the greatest. They contributed to shows like Switch and Supernova and hosted the radio show Hang The Dj, all of them being broadcasted on the national radio station Studio Brussel. Four years in a row, up until now, Frères Deluxe has also been part of the line-up of the dj's present on Rock Werchter festival.

In addition, Frères Deluxe has been manning the decks at Laundry Day, Tomorrowland, Feest in het Park, Jospop, Hestival, Festiv'Halle, Funkycity, Polé Polé, Lochtfest and Rock Werchter.
